Hi everyone,
There are three reasons why the laugh is one of the best medicines for human health. First the laugh dissolves tension, stress, anxiety, irritation and depression, like crying, laughter lowers inhibitions. Second physiologically, laughter promotes healing, by lowering the blood pressure, and by increasing the vascular blood flow and the oxygenation of the blood. Finally the mere act of laughing exercises the diaphragm, abdomen, facial muscles, legs, back, among others. For those reasons laugh provides a coping mechanism for dealing with difficult or stressful situations. Don't wait until we are sick before we begin practicing laughter. We can start today exchanging jokes with family members, friends, and coworkers.

Numerous investigations confirm that laughter is good for health. Studies of the therapeutic properties of humor, they say that laughter has many benefits. Five minutes of laughter is like 45 minutes of light exercise, laughing releases endorphins (known as the hormone of happiness) which leads to feelings of euphoria and happiness, helps blood circulation, eliminates toxins, enhances in the immune system. Finally, there is nothing better for the health that laughter many times a day, plus there is not therapy more economical, simple and fun to laugh without stopping.
